My recent stay was quite nice. Pool and amenities were good, staff were friendly and proficient. My only issue is the bathrooms are outdated, and the overbath showers are terrible, short and slippery

We were at a conference in Cairns and a great location. Close to walking tracks , the town and restaurants on the front. Nice to come back after a long day to a resort style area .

For the price we paid, and the rooms appearance on the site, we expected to spend the last night of our honeymoon in luxury. The room was old and outdated. There were no cold drink options in the fridge.....not even bottled water. We checked in at 6am (after paying for the option) from our international flight, and were woken by housekeeping at 10am! We would, however, like to compliment the bed. It was very comfortable. Given that our one night here cost as much as our accommodation for our entire honeymoon, I expected to be impressed.

The room seemed renovated and nice. It would have been great if the bathroom was also renovated since it was a bit old. The mirroring function of smartphones on the room TV was very convenient and nice.
